not to be overly critical of an incredibly tiny fandom but i think it says a lot about fandom practices in general when the main supporting character in monk, arguably a dual protagonist, has always been a woman, yet there is rarely fandom content about sharona or natalie (two undeniably well-developed and interesting characters) and instead people fixate on a male character who is in fact the third most present character on the show (arguably the fifth most present when you consider percentages rather than plain numbers) and also apply a highly amatonormative lens to his relationship with adrian. i won't even comment on how trudy gets sidelined and reduced despite being thee specter that haunts the text. fandom misogyny truly cuts deep

my sympathy for vegans getting a flood of “DEBATE MEEEE” comments versus my frustration that their explanations and reasoning for vegan-ness still being fucking shit
#‘why are you arguing against someones life choices! their behavior isn’t a reflection on you!’ well A) i’m not actuall the one being critica#critical in this scenario i know better than to actually involve myself in that shit#b) Once You Start Making Ethical Arguments That Inherently Involves Everybody Fucking Else#AND THEN WHEN YOUR ARGUMENTS HAVE HOLES IT JUST. ACK#sorry but regaurdless of whether humans bred chickens or sheep to produce a surplus of That Stuff We Get From Them doesn’t make the fact tha#that harvesting that surplus SHOULD BE (not IS) harmless irrelevant#think i fucked up the grammer there. love how you can’t see the whole tag in the tags system#on mobile i mean#and like. suggesting selective breeding to REMOVE traits humans tampered into animals is still fuckin assumptive of what we even actually#meddled with#like jfc. veganism is an entirely fucking rational response to the animal industry’s plethora of degredations towards dignity and life#JUST CITE THAT#and while the plant agriculture industry is also completely fucked people still rely on it moreso than meat thus the demand is inelastic#and also theres hypothetically more room for actually ethical consumption. probably#veganism isnt INHERENTLY a step towards more ethical environmental practices but done not-catastrophically-wrong its stil a fucking improvem#improvement! and likewise it isn’t the ONLY road to making shit more ethical at least if you can accept that there is some ideal ‘ethical an#‘ethical animal agriculture’ that exists as a possibility out there#not to mention the whole ‘personal choices versus systemic change’ thing and how whe our politics affect our personal consumption that doesn#‘t really mean dick-all compared to actual collective efforts

this person has specifically gotten weird about my politics before and whenever that happens im always like you know you can unfollow me right. theres a button you can click to choose not to see those posts? i don't know. write whatever you want in your characters, have it be an indulgent fantasy. but its not my problem if my political posts make you feel guilty about the way you choose to tie transness to transhumanism. i understand that maybe the character is a power fantasy for you, but also, maybe you should just take a break and question why you cant have a power fantasy without the inclusion of destruction of the human body. you might find things that are worth exploring, and hell, they could be worth exploring THROUGH your character. its not the fact that these themes exist thats the problem, its that they exist in a non critical and extremely sugarcoated light. and if you feel like that applies to your character it might be worth wondering why.

alright y'all lil (alright, maybe not so little) recap of the second show of AG's Boom Done tour last night 3.4 in Buffalo @ one of my favorite venues, Mohawk Place. because my brain commits absolutely everything to memory at shows & i like writing it all down before i forget
(for fun & plus maybe folks going to this tour want to know what's shakin, since i haven't seen much online yet):
(note there will be setlist spoilers)
Tumblr media
- alright so first, a freakin HIGHLIGHT for me was, of course, GET OUT!!!
Anthony was just kinda messing around with his guitar & then teased it by being like "hmm... how should i play this..." and then went into that and the crowd reception was AWESOME, dude. whatever the opposite of masking is, that's what i was doing there. i definitely started physically jumping up & down once i realized what it was (typical wavernot4love @ the AG show behavior). aka evidently he knew your boy (who like i've mentioned on here, got into Circa last summer through a kind person at a Dunes show rec'ing me Get Out & then BSN. Get Out was straight up my introduction 2 Circa) was in the building (/Ih).
also, i had to shorten my clip to post because in the rest i must've had my phone right next to my mouth,,, which made for some horrifying tone deaf live vox from wavernot4love. be glad i spared y'all from that one.
(i'm gonna put one of those keep reading thingies here, click it 2 see the rest)
- he also played Dyed In The Wool & Frozen Creek, continuing that theme (though I expected these more since he's played em recently). Dyed In The Wool with everyone singing along during the chorus was probably my top moment, and one that's gonna stick with me forever, honestly. i remember thinking it straight up felt like, a churchlike (but positive) experience or something during the songs everyone did that for (remember, it's just anthony this tour no backing band, so it was somewhat quiet in there). more on that later, but AG kept pointing out how nice the singing along was & how fun/awesome this all was, and man, that it was.
- he mentioned valuing spontaneity over a planned setlist every night and basically implied he was just goin for whatever felt right at the time. so just consider the songs i mention here as a basic guideline, he could very well switch stuff up every night. i love that he's like this when it comes to shows - idk dude, like, at one point he even asked folks what time it was, laughing when they told him, jokingly accusing them of being untrustworthy & then going right back into the tunes. dude was just here to play, for as long as he could.
- kinda tied to that, there was a running gag of the set being "inconsistent" (his word). he'd bring up jokingly that there'd be moments where everyone could be singing along, and then songs that nobody knows (and he'd jokingly "apologize" for that), and he'd even (lightheartedly) call specific people out and be like (to laughs) "look at this person, they have no *idea* what i'm gonna play next!" actually i think he said that before Get Out. at one point he was (paraphrased slightly) like, "so if i start playing 12 Circa songs in a row, let me know." i love how he just does whatever the hell feels right in the moment.
- also a couple times he messed up while starting a song (i think due to laughing) and bro would call out folks laughing at him for it (lightheartedly) and be like "this is all performance. vou don't know what goes into this!" (this was not at all serious and said through laughter. straight up half the show was all of us in that room just cracking up together)
- he introduced his Title Fight cover (Numb, But I Still Feel It) by calling TF one of his favorite bands & joking that they're gonna hear this & think it's time to get back together so... if you hear that Title Fight reunited, you know why, which, well, if you know that side of the scene, you know what's up. real shits and giggles moment, if i do say so myself.
- at one point (only bad thing) someone at the front was being objectively Weird in the way people (unfortunately) do to try to get an artist's attention (let's just say it involved throwing money (????? literally what) while yelling stuff about understanding because they're in the industry (??)) and he honestly handled it with so much grace. he pretty much said that made him uncomfortable etc and he would Not be taking more of their money please, he already did that, and that led to him ranting for a second i think mostly to himself in a thinking out loud/under his breath kinda way about *hating* having to sell stuff in the first place in order to do this and like,,, i go into this a bit in the tags but it genuinely reminded me of how i get when i'm passionate about something. what i'm trying to say, is dude clearly was heated & meant it. fully. just felt relevant to include
- then he ranted about something related to the moneythrowing, drunk (question mark) weirdo (long story, but it ended in him telling them to tip bartenders with their money instead of weird things), then used that to go on a tangent about how we should always tip people working in service in general and respect/be kind to them even if they seem rude or whatever because doing that shit is hard & sucks and maybe your kindess will be the wakeup call that causes them to one day have a moment where they're like, man, i was a dick back then for no reason. (i feel like i am nearly direct quoting him here)
- then after a song he joked about the incident saving we were probably just all watching like 🧍‍♂️ and it was like watching dad yell at mom at the dinner table while you just sit there staring at the ground and safe to say the mood was fully lightened after that moment of self awareness fhfhfh
- then a few songs later i guess the person that was being weird had left so he was like, (at this point there were no weird vibes whatsoever, like we were all just scoffing/laughing at the situation and cheering him on) "oh that person who hates me left. did they give the bartender that money?" (someone implied they thought so) and he was like "good." and that was the end with that weirdo situation lol. i have absolutely no idea why that person, drunk or not, thought that was a normal cool thing to do. as always, please don't be weird 2 musicians they are in every sense just Some Guys (gender neutral), treat them like anyone else.
- back 2 totally unserious things, during... uh don't mind me, like i've said in my previous posts i'm still getting 2 know Boom Done, so whatever song has like, the horns kinda near the end? he just started making freakin. horn noises since since there were, in fact, no horns in the building and made us all do them too and everyone was just straight up cackling because it was so stupid (/pos).
- idk one thing that stood out to me was one person belting along at the end of... i can't remember what song it was actually, i think one of his older tunes, but you could tell he heard & a song later complimented it & said it was beautiful. i'm telling ya, he kept going on about how nice folks singing along sounded and encouraging that, which was awesome because i wasn't sure what the vibe was gonna be there since it was just him playing.
- don't want to go into detail since it feels like something between Anthony & whoever he decides to tell it to in real time, ya know, but he did tell a pretty extensive story leading up to Miracle Sun. in terms of themes, it was in regards to (with plenty of laughs mixed into the serious bits, of course) letting folks that matter to him down + falling into a cycle of engaging in stuff that temporarily made him feel better but was moreso just self destructive, in the past. just interesting stuff to hear in connection to a song.
- at the end, before Dear Child, he just talked in the most honest manner about knowing he's let people down, cancelled shows (there were laughs mixed in here too), just not been the best version of himself over the years etc, but appreciating how long everyone has stuck around, and how we keep coming back, & jow much it means whenever we tell someone go check out a song or anything like that, & helping him continue to do this and also support his family and whatnot and man it just. embodied everything i love about AG solo sets i guess. i just admire how open a book &p vulnerable dude is. while i love his more theatric frontman persona of course as it's fun as hell, it's so nice at solo shows like this to hear more from him, in seriousness and otherwise. also dude was posting about how fun it was on instagram later so i'm just glad we all had a great time.
- also at one point before a new tune he was talking about these cds he had that have that on it + some rerecordings, Frozen Creek (feat. Keith of GOW), etc. i love cds so i ran to snag one later of course (they're $12)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- as for other merch he had a few shirts (like that cute one i keep seeing around, with him & the puppy), some art prints, & the Boom Done book thingy (i really wanted it but couldn't swing the $25 right now sadly)
anyways,, i posted on Setlist FM for the first time, here are all the songs i remember for sure (there were definitely at least 4/5 others i am not thinking of, i'd say he did 17ish songs, he played for close to an hour and a half. keep in mind he talked a LOT with us which was awesome)
edit: someone added a few more!!!
Tumblr media
anyways, that's the show!!! 1. i may or may not be trying 2 figure out how to pull off one of the other northeast dates (looking @ Cleveland, which is closer but i'd have to drive to, or New York, which is further (+ yknow.. dealing w getting around in NY) but i could take a bus to, this weekend/next week as we speak,,,, that's how freakin good and homey (more on that in the tags aka uhh literal diary section of this post) and impactful this show was.
and 2. if any of this (especially said tags) sounds loopy it sure is because i wrote most of this at roughly four am last night post show, when i was even moreso still back *at* the show in my head. i still stand by all of it though of course, i just know it might not be the most coherent.
this tour rocks. AG's tunes mean so much to me. get out 2 a show!!! tell me about your experiences if ya do/did!!!! yay!!!!
#it is safe to say i have genuinely endless respect & admiration for this person who happens to be my favorite artist in the world#i could not be happier or moreso in my neutral state of how i feel like things should be than i am at the ag show#also the more i hear him talk the more i realize homie reminds me of... me.#not in a “me modeling my behaviors after him because i look up to him” kinda way#though i certainly have picked up on small things there like i tend to with folks#like phrases and the like#but no#moreso just in a “the two of us happen to share some innate similarities in regards to a buncha stuff” kinda way#just an observation. in hindsight i wonder if i subconsciously picked up on this back when i was first getting into his music#n that contributed to it resonating with me so much#i don't know man i just know i'm glad 2 have this dude's music in my life and to see homie thriving#truly hope we can meet @ a show sometime soon so i can dive into how much of a positive impact he's had on my life. i have so much to say!!#i tried to make that happen at this show i really did#i just guess it wasn't meant 2 happen then. and that is okay!! i know it will whenever it's meant to.#going back to what i said about everything just feeling.... right at the show i keep thinking about how while i miss that already#and am kinda having a crisis where in my head i feel like i'm still there (or should be) as opposed 2 here back in regular just. life#i'm just glad and lucky moments like this show are a real thing that can be my life at all.#basically i just mean the vibe of ag shows feels like everything i define my life by really#realized as something/place i can actually physically experience.#shows r my safe space that embody everything i dream about when i'm just going about day to day life#live music is everything 2 me & that's only amplified exponentially by folks like anthony that get it & turn shows even moreso into a home#thanks for reading if you have#i'm truly glad to have this space where i feel like i can talk about Everything#i love that on here the “oversharing” thing is just a thing everyone does#actually that ties back to what i brought up about anthony#i respect how unapologetically open that dude is in ways that might be “too much” for some people & really connect 2 that#point is i am so grateful for days like this and music like this and people like this#anthony green#circa survive#wavernot4love talks ag tunes

yan! femboy ૮꒰/ฅ//ฅ//꒱ა
Tumblr media
imp. notes!!: fem reader + masturbation mention
Tumblr media
yan! femboy who met you when you, despite your lack of outgoing-ness, got accepted into the maid cafe! he thought you were the cutest little thing, how shy and kind you were. though the logic was lost on him on how someone as shy as you got into a maid cafe.
yan! femboy who didn’t immediately get absolutely infatuated with you, it was over time as he got to know you more when he realized he wanted you to himself. to him it came as a total surprise!! like yeah sure you're cute and your shyness definitely works in your favor but he never thought he'd like you like this, let alone obsessed with you!
yan! femboy who often made you stay back after closing the cafe for the night, he always said it's to 'mentor' you more and to get you more eased into being a maid at the cafe but really it was just to chat with you more and learn more about you. he wants to be wayyyy more than just a coworker to you ૮꒰/ฅ//ฅ//꒱ა
yan! femboy who sometimes finds himself sending glares to the customers for being so comfortable with you, they need to realize ur his, even if u dont know it yet urself :(
yan! femboy who often gets jealous of the customers who you get along with too well. don't get him wrong, he knows its part the job to be so sweet and understanding and to expect more comfortable customers conversating and being talkative with you but, goddammit, is the over joyous laughter and batting eyelashes necessary? you're never like that with him...
yan! femboy who sometimes would pick a customer he's particularly jealous of and accuse them of stuff like theft, being creepy, or just anything serious to get you to think lowly of them. he would then complain to management about the customer's behavior and eventually get them banned from the cafe— It always works considering it's a maid cafe and there's bound to be at least some weirdos
yan! femboy who finally made it to friend status with you! because he finally got you this way, he'd often invite you to his house (and hoped that you'd feel comfortable enough to invite him to yours!). if he's being honest, he never wanted to be at your house just for a sleepover. i mean, yeah, he wants to be near you all day, talk to you, and touch you but he moreso wants to be there to steal burrow your belongings. he'd be so honoured to take home one of your things!!
yan! femboy who often invites you over to his house, and when you're asleep he takes so many cute pictures of you!! its not creepy,, its just you look so adorable sleeping so soundly on his bed. he needs to cherish this moment and what better way to do that then yknow take a couple pics! (he jerks off to them sometimes)
yan! femboy who is so glad to have met you, hes not even sure as to how hes gone on in this world so long without you!! now, without you he sees no purpose. he is absolutely determined to make you his, even if it means playing dirty to get there

Malleus spent most of his time alone.
Painfully, miserably, passively alone. Stowed away in the frigid classrooms of private tutors or left to haunt abandoned ruins or locked in cages of glass and eggshell. There were interruptions to his loneliness, sure – Lilia’s rough-handed care, the doomed friendship of a particularly courageous human – but those were exceptions, bright spots in an otherwise dour sky. He’d long since accepted that he was destined to spend of long, mundane life perpetually unsatisfied with his own company. The occasionally rays of sun that broke through his overcast were to be appreciated, admired, but not expected.
It was just a wonder how he could be so desperately alone and so smothered by people at the same time.
Music played softly nearby, meant to fall underneath the steady thrum of conversation. Knights, noblemen, and merchants milled through the ballroom, each attending to their own affairs under the guise of celebration. Occasionally, a servant or advisor would find their way to his throne, but he waved them off quickly. His eyes were trained on the revelries, flitting from guest to guest in search of silver hair, a shining blade, a uniform with double the decorations of the average soldier. Finally, just as his hope threatened to wane, his attention caught on a single, pale form moving through the crowd, just a touch less foreboding than the monstrous fae that surrounded it.
Silver. His general. His knight.
His.
Malleus was on his feet by the time Silver reached the front of the ballroom and sweeping the young man into his arms before he could so much as attempt his usual bow. Malleus held him in that bone-crushing hug for a beat, then another before Silver laughed and brought a hand to his shoulder, shoving gently. “I’m happy to see you too, highness.”
Right. Of course. Formalities. With as much dignity as he could manage, Malleus released Silver, letting him fall back onto his own feet. “You’ve been away too long. Next time I see you, you’ll have aged ten years.”
“It’s only been a few weeks.” Silver was quick to dismiss Malleus’ concerns these days, especially those that revolved around passing time. It hadn’t been a few weeks. It’d been months – five months – spent alone in the capital, chained to his princely obligations while Silver led his soldiers south. There was no real danger in their latest expedition, only a few skirmishes with a neighboring kingdom that had be stamped out before they escalated, but each day of separation felt like its own sort of threat. As if Death itself would come to steal Silver away if he strayed too far from Malleus’ side.
“A good few weeks, actually,” he went on, falling back into the steady march of a standard military report. “The tensions on the southern border have died down. Negotiations took longer than anticipated, but that’s to be expected. We were sidetracked on our way home. A fire broke out in one of the port cities were passing through, and I thought we could help with the recovery effort.” He cast his eyes to the side, the march faltering. “And I… I have someone I’d like you to meet.”
Silver paused, reaching behind him. His hand clasped another, and—
Oh.
You were a beautiful intruder, weren’t you? You must’ve been standing behind Silver for quite some time - Malleus could only wonder how he hadn’t noticed such a glaring imposition sooner. Your hand drifted from Silver’s hand to his arm, looking for support as you fell into a clumsy, shallow curtsy, only to fall to your waist as kneaded at the fabric of your dress. You were wearing a blue so pale, it bordered on white. Matching Silver’s uniform to the shade.
And you were nervous. Truly, evidently nervous, even moreso than the average human in a fae court. Malleus tried to catch your eye, but your gaze remained fixed on the ground, your shoulders raised and rigid. Your hair was pulled into a style that showed a bias toward practicality over presentation, and as Silver wrapped an arm around your waist, Malleus could’ve sworn you made an earnest attempt to huddle into his side. You were more of a rabbit than a rattlesnake, clearly. It was endearing in the way trapped, frightened animals often were.
“My betrothed,” Silver explained, beaming. Malleus felt his heart tighten in his chest. “Honestly, we would’ve gotten married on the road, but—” He glanced in your direction, the full light of his adoration shining suddenly on you. “My poor love is a little shy. We decided on a long engagement, to make the adjustment easier.”
“Ah.” The word ‘married’ stabbed a knife into Malleus’ stomach. ‘My love’ twisted the blade. “And you met…?”
“He saved my life.” Your voice, somehow, was even more lovely and even more timid than your face. Not quite a rabbit, then. Maybe a songbird, still learning how to sing from its cage. “My family’s home was caught in the fire. I was trapped. I thought I’d burn, but Silver—”
You stiffened, a frown pulling at the corner of your lips. Clearly, the memory of your rescue was not a pleasant one.
“And your family, have they accompanied you?”
Silver opened his mouth. You were faster. “My family is with the stars, now.”
He could see why Silver liked you. There was a rawness to your voice, a transparency to your expression that put every through behind those pretty eyes on display. He could see pain, grief, and then deeper. Anger, fear. Loneliness.
Silver smiled, sighing as he kissed your temple. “I was hoping to get your blessing. We plan to return to the cotta—”
“No.” You weren’t the only one able to hide how you felt, apparently. The rejection was instinctual, reflexive. Malleus rushed to mask the slip. “No, no, a dusty old cottage is no place for soon-to-be newlyweds. Stay at the castle, as my guests. At least until Lilia pays us a visit.”
Silver’s eyes darted to you, clearly unsure. Malleus bridged the space between them, bringing a hand to his shoulder. “Please, Silver. You were away for so long. Give me a chance to enjoy having you back. And to get to know our new friend, of course.”
It was a pathetic excuse, as obvious as it was poorly pieced together. Still, Silver smiled. “If you’ll have us.”
Malleus exhaled, allowing himself only the smallest shows of relief. Of course. Silver hadn’t been a lonely child. He didn’t know what it was like, what it could drive people to.
His attention fell onto you – beautiful, quiet, lonely you.
He wondered if you weren’t quite so naïve.
~
Silver was learning what it was like to be alone.
Slowly, clumsily, tortuously. He wasn’t used to it. He had his father through childhood, and that’d been enough to keep him happy. He had Sebek for a friend, for a rival, and that’d been enough to keep him challenged, to keep him sharp. He had Malleus for a liege, and that’d given him a purpose to work toward. A king to serve. An idol to worship. Now, though, his father was traveling to distant lands, only ever in the valley for a few days at a time, and Sebek was just as far, teaching young mages on a remote island on the other side of the world. His world had always been small, but it’d always been full, too. Full to bursting. Full of warmth.
His world was still small. But it was quieter, too. Emptier.
He could only be thankful that he had you to keep him warm.
Unconsciously, his hand found its way to your thigh. He could feel you next to him, your knee occasionally knocking against his when you leaned forward to refill your teacup, and it was all he could do to stop himself from leaning across the table and kissing you until he forgot why he felt the need to. He loved seeing you here, sitting in the gardens of Castle Blackscale, surrounded by the very same walls he’d visited so often for his training. He loved hearing your voice, as beautiful as wind-chimes and birdsong and wedding bells, mixed with Malleus’ low murmur. He loved you.
“…isn’t that right, Silver?”
He only realized he’d lost track of your conversation when you spoke his name. Blinking, he straightened, glancing between you and Malleus and earning a breath of a laugh from you. His heart raced at the sound. He hadn’t heard it recently, not since the engagement.
“I was just talking about how cloudy it is, here. The sky was always so clear at home.” You bowed your head, smiling softly. “I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to the cold.”
Malleus started to respond, but his gaze caught on something over your shoulder. Silver followed his line of sight. An advisor stood on the outskirts of the garden, clearly waiting for his prince.
Sighing, Malleus rose. “My apologies. I have a last minute appointment – it must’ve slipped my mind,” he said to Silver, nodding. When he turned to you, his smile was wider, his fangs slipping over his bottom lip. He held a hand out, and reluctantly, you offered him yours. Silver had to stop himself from digging his nails into your leg, from kissing you more roughly than he would’ve cared to have to. “My deepest apologies for the cold. Hopefully, you’ll be able to seek out company capable of keeping you warm.”
After pressing his lips into the back of your hand, he made his exit hastily. When he was out of sight, you folded your arms in front of you and buried your face in your self-made shelter. “I hate it here, Silver.”
Ah, there you were. His betrothed, his love, all the same pouting lips and heavy sighs you’d showed to him the first night his soldiers arrived in your village, the night he’d spent tucked into the back of a tavern, talking with you until the sun rose, slipping outside for fresh air and stolen kisses. It was the first time he’d ever met someone like him, another human adopted into the valley. It was the first time he’d ever felt so well and truly with another person, and he was sure you felt the same.
Grinning, he draped an arm over your shoulders, pulling you close. “I know. The castle can be intimidating when you first arrive.”
“The castle is—” You straightened, gesturing dismissively. “It’s the prince. I hate the way he looks at me.” And then, leaning back in your seat, “It reminds me of you.”
The rage was instant and all-consuming. Silver had never considered himself to be overly jealous, but he knew how he looked at you, remembered the stabbing pain in his chest when you told him that you wouldn’t leave your family, that you couldn’t follow a near-stranger back to a city you didn’t know. The desire to have, to keep, to lock away. A fire that could burn down a city, so long as it meant holding you that much closer.
“Malleus is harmless. Curious, but harmless.” And yet, he swallowed it back. He had you. There was no need to fight for what he’d already won. “And to be fair, who could ever look away from you?”
Another sigh, this one punctuated by you burying your face in his shoulder. You stayed like that for a moment, then another, and Silver drunk it in – the proximity, the closeness, the way your body fit so perfectly against his. You rarely lingered against him for so long, these days. “The last time a man looked at me like that,” you started, finally, speaking into his sleeve. “I ended up orphaned, homeless, and engaged to a man I barely knew. I don’t want to know what’ll happen the second time around.”
“You have nothing to worry about.” And he meant it. To his final breath, he’d keep you safe. To his final breath, he’d make sure you stayed his.
And yet, Malleus resurfaced in his mind, his name alone vicious and mocking. It would’ve been a lie to say he hadn’t noticed the way Malleus sought you out when Silver wasn’t by your side, how naturally his eyes landed on you in a crowded room. It would’ve been a lie to say he liked the tone Malleus used when he spoke of you, explicitly conspiratorial and overly affectionate in turns.
It would’ve been a lie to say he hadn’t laid awake at night, wondering what he would have to do if Malleus’ interest proved to be more than curiosity, after all.
~
More than anything, you wanted to be left alone.
To grieve the ashes that used to be your mother, your father, your life. To sort out your own conflicting, smoke-tinged thoughts on the man you’d fallen in love with overnight and grown to hate by the next morning. You wouldn’t need long – just a day, an hour. Just enough time to remember what it felt like to exist without Silver by your side, without Malleus’ voice in your ear. Just enough time to run.
You wanted to be left alone. You needed to be left alone.
But your needs didn’t hold much weight these days, did they?
Malleus had taken a chair in front of the fireplace, only a few paces from where you sat on the foot of your bed. He’d let himself in, asked if you had time to talk. Silver had been called away to the knights’ barracks, but you weren’t in a place to turn away royalty. Still, he seemed like an ill-fit, somehow too tall and too foreboding for the fortress that was his castle. It made sense, in a way. Dragons belonged in towers, not bedrooms.
“I’m sorry,” you said, again. You’d lost track of how many times you’d apologized to him. “I promise, Silver’s going to be back in—”
“I know. He’s not the one I’m here for.”
Fuck. “You wanted to see me, your highness?”
“I have a question. Please, answer honestly. I’m not sure we’ll get another chance.” He waited for you to swallow, to nod. When he went on, his tone was so low and so even, it almost seemed solemn. “Are you satisfied?”
Of all the things you’d been expecting him to ask, that hadn’t made the list. “Am I… satisfied?”
“With your engagement. With Silver.” Malleus pushed himself to his feet. He perched himself next to you, and you stopped yourself from retreating to a more isolated corner. “I know him. I raised him. I’ve seen how he clings to you. He’s not the type to let go of what he loves, not so easily.” He wasn’t. He really, really wasn’t. You flinched into yourself, shutting your eyes, and Malleus’ hand found yours, his thumb pushing slow patterns into your knuckles. “You don’t hold on so tightly, do you?”
“…no, I don’t.” The confession was less painful than you might’ve expected. He must’ve known. Silver, too. You’d been the only one in denial. “Honestly, the only thing I’ve been able to think about since arriving here is leaving.”
“And if I offered you a chance to, would you take it?”
You didn’t trust Malleus. You didn’t like Malleus. From the moment you’d met him, he’d looked at you like something he wanted to eat. Something he wanted to own.
But you couldn’t keep going like this. You needed to get out.
You needed to be alone.
“In a heartbeat.”
A second passed, then another. When you could force yourself to open your eyes, you found Malleus’ lips curled back into a broad, fanged grin. Over his shoulder, you could see that the bedroom door was ajar and Silver was standing on the threshold.
You tried to run. It was a rash, dangerous thing to do, but you had to, needed to. You threw yourself forward, but Malleus’ hand found your wrist, clamping down. He jerked you toward him, your back slamming into his chest and his free arm snaking around your waist, making your futile attempts to struggle against him all the more pointless. You heard him laugh, felt him bury his face in your shoulder. His breath was cool and biting against your skin, his cheek just as freezing as he nuzzled into the side of your neck. “My darling little songbird,” he muttered, making no effort to stifle his delight. “You’ve sung too loudly now, haven’t you?”
Desperately, you sought out Silver. He’d always known how you felt about him, and he’d always claimed to want to protect you, regardless. But, when he stepped out of the doorway, it wasn’t to draw his sword, or wrench you out of Malleus’ arms, or make good on any other promise he’d ever made to you. Instead, he lowered himself onto one knee between your thrashing legs, staring up at you. His eyes looked too blank, too dull. Malleus’ smile widened.
“You were going to leave me.”
It wasn’t a question, but you shook your head violently, little ‘no’s and ‘never’s slipping past your lips before you could think better than to lie. “I told you,” Malleus cut in, making no effort to speak over you. That didn’t matter. It was clear Silver wasn’t listening to a word you said. “Some things just can’t be trusted to stay where you left them. You remember how I caught you to catch finches, don’t you?”
Silver nodded. “A string around the foot and wire cages. Father said it was inhumane.”
“For a common animal, yes. But some creatures should know better than to fly away from what keeps them safe.” You dug your nails into Malleus’ wrist. He laughed, settling in the crook of your neck. “And you want to keep this one safe, don’t you?”
You let out a frustrated sob. “Silver, please, I don’t—”
His answer came easily, like he hadn’t heard you at all. “More than anything.”
“And you want to keep them, don’t you?”
This, he seemed to have to consider. You managed to catch his eyes, pleading silently, but Silver only let his gaze drop to the floor. “I can’t be left alone, not again.”
Malleus’ laugh was bright, chiming. He reached forward, combing clawed fingers through Silver’s hair, and Silver melted into his palm.
“Then make it so that our songbird cannot fly at all.”

hii I was js wondering if u cld write some headcannons or a scenario for yandere myung gi (player 333) nothing specificc
Myung-gi/Player 333 - Yandere Headcannons
Synopsis: Headcannons of Myung-gi liking you just a little too much.. (okay, it's way more than a little)
A/N: cute idea i like !!
Warnings: obsessive behavior, yandere content, kidnapping, murder, stalking
Tumblr media
➠ Yandere Myung-gi is such a good thought..
➠ Likely watched you from afar at first but not in a stalker-ish way
➠ Moreso he'd stare at you if you were nearby and think about how you are so very pretty
➠ although, to be fair, he did find all your social media profiles when he got home but that was the most of it !!
➠ he only got obsessive when he saw you talking to some guy and felt quite angry
➠ from there he started stalking you to your house, to your job- everywhere just to make sure no one else was pining after you.
➠ if someone was, he'd leave a very ominous message about staying away from you or harm would come to the persons family
➠ Of course, it was all just threats to scare people away.
➠ eventually, he wormed his way into your life with a cute smile and a flushed face
➠ you could never think he was a bad guy because he seemed so cute and genuine when he asked you out
➠ That was a mistake
➠ You agreeing to go out with him made his obsession with you a million times worse
➠ First time he went to your house he may have, or may have not, stolen your underwear and uh.. you could guess what he did with that when he went home.
➠ He just really likes your scent okay !!
➠ In front of you, he's a total sweetheart. Behind your back, he's fucking crazy
➠ the first time he killed someone was when a guy flirted with you after Myung-gi left you alone for just a moment
➠ something in him just snapped that day and that guy who had the audacity to come close to you was now in his room, tied up, and having his fingers cut off one by one
➠ Cut the guys tongue off as well before killing him because he wanted the guy to learn a lesson about daring to talk to his girl like that
➠ from then, he didn't shy away from killing people who even looked at you
➠ you were unaware about what he was up to because he was so very careful when cleaning up
➠ You didn't figure it out until it was far too late and he had you in the palm of his hand
➠ When he finally admits what he's done for you (or you find out and confront him), he's begging you to stay
➠ He'd really rather not hurt you at all
➠ But if you try to leave he's quick to knock you out
➠ absolutely does kidnap you and apologizes over and over again while saying that he's doing it for your own good
➠ overall, very protective and wants you all to himself
"I'm really sorry, baby, but you were trying to leave me," he spoke with an apologetic tone as his thumb gently stroked your cheek. Your hands and legs were bound to a chair as you struggled against it, tears filling your eyes. The sight made Myung-gi's heart ache but he knew this was for your own good. He couldn't let you leave him - not when you were soulmates. "Don't cry.. I'll keep you safe from everyone else,"

incomprehensible longish suselle post incoming
i was inspired by someone else who commented on my last post but everyone knows that suselle is the big ship coming in deltarune obvi. i wanna talk about why i find them compelling under the readmore. feel free to agree or disagree idk
Tumblr media
- starting off with noelle. everyone with eyes can see she has a big crush on susie. but genuinely, think about it. noelle had a fucked upbringing, her mother is shown to be strict, cold, emotionally distant. there’s a line of dialogue that implies she was like this prior to Dess’s disappearance in chapter 2. additionally, her father is terminally ill, so unfortunately he can’t be as present as he wants to be in her life. what this meant, is that noelle was likely given extremely high expectations on any performance. carol is a workaholic, implied to be super controlling, and restricts much of what she honestly wants. As a result, it’s hard for her to stand up for herself or even voice her opinions, such as when she’s forced to work with berdly on her project or when he tells her to attend the festival alongside him.
- Another aspect that (this is kind of me snorting crack cocaine) I think is likely true is considering how the holiday family is set up, noelle is definitely going to be idolized or pushed into a perfect and sweet girl role. I’m not denying that she’s a good person, but you can tell being super nice and trying to appease everyone exhausts her greatly. It’s why when pushed to a certain point, she’ll lash out (seen with berdly, kris, and queen), indicating her frustration.
- So why am I talking about this? When it seemingly has nothing to do with Susie? Oh, it actually has everything to do with her. Susie, in her eyes, is probably everything she wants to be, or desires, and practically her inverse. Susie isn’t afraid of standing up for what’s right. There’s no real expectations thrust on her. She’ll fuck up anything in her way and marches to her own tune. There’s no connection to her family, nothing about being put on a pedestal, or anything conventional about her. Susie, in Noelle’s eyes, sees her as a normal person. No forced interactions, no heavy secrecy around or a false persona, unlike many of the people around them both. Her crush on Susie is perhaps the only semblance of normalcy and freedom that Noelle will ever have, and an escape from all the baggage that’s plaguing her life.
- In contrast, while we know little about Susie’s background, everything in deltarune so far paints a grim picture. Susie constantly moves around, specifically avoids going home whenever possible, and is afraid to form a connection with anyone lest that get ripped from her. Her behavior is off putting (not to mention she eats inedible objects and drinks out of Alphys’s milk saucer each day, which further indicates she’s not being treated or fed well at home), and she purposefully shows herself as scary to avoid being close to people and also showing their true colors around her. As a result, pretty much most of everyone, including townspeople, try not to engage with her.
- So with all of that in her character, imagine her surprise when someone like Noelle treats her kindly and not as some kind of strange and violent creature. Despite all her flaws, Noelle genuinely wants to form a connection with her, to be close with her. And Noelle, possibly in Susie’s eyes, is a girl that’s also everything she’s not. Good academic and behavioral standing, liked by her peers, how effortlessly sweet and kind she is to everyone (and I’m not denying the sweet parts of Susie’s nature either, it’s way harder for her to be vulnerable), and seemingly has a big home she can always turn to. Never does Susie think Noelle is faking herself towards her or forced into, moreso surprised she even sees her as somewhat of an equal in the first place. Noelle is authentic and honest in a way that Susie highly values, something she snapped at Ralsei for in chapter 4. It’s part of why she pushes her to defend herself from her own mother.
- When the two spend time together, you can see that neither of them are fully ready to have a full conversation without fumbling a bit, which is part of their contrasting dynamic. Noelle is afraid of being weird, blatantly obvious and otherwise unconventional. Susie has no idea how to tread their conversation without potentially pushing Noelle away, but when they finally get the ball rolling, they are far more comfortable, open, and softly joking with each other, like they’ve known each other for a long time. They have common interests, play around, and Susie even gets bold enough to playfully scare Noelle. It’s also a gameplay mechanic to force you to explore Dess’s room but they make excuses to extend their time together. I think everyone should read the full conversations between them when the soul is separated from Kris, it’s very sweet. While once again, everyone with eyes can see Noelle’s crush, there’s tidbits suggesting it’s mutual to some extent. From Susie saying she likes Noelle’s smile to her getting flustered when she sees her in dark makeup, for example. There’s items that remind her of Noelle unprompted when you equip them to her. In addition, both used and unused sprites show her blushing around Noelle in the ch4 scene.
- I think it culminates to the big turning point in their relationship, when Susie loudly declares that she’s taking Noelle to the festival with her. she got a glimpse at Carol, decided she was bad news and stood up to/attempted to protect Noelle from her wrath. This is why I brought up Noelle’s freedom – the festival is potentially her ticket out of Carol’s grasp (and whatever the fuck she’s cooking with Kris and the knight) and a way for her to further explore themselves.
- There’s so many tragic elements in Deltarune – Kris’s lack of autonomy, the ominous prophecy haunting everyone’s narrative, failed and broken families, an uncomfortable air of secrecy and danger that’s plaguing the town despite its seemingly friendly nature – that a positive, lighter and genuine relationship blossoming between two loaded characters like Noelle and Susie is a breath of fresh air
- tldr they cute sorry for incomprehensible salad of words i can’t sleep
